  • Custom Aartis & Collections: Any Aarti you write, edit, or organize into collections is stored locally on your device in a private SQLite/Room database. We have no access to this content.
  • Favorites & Reading Preferences: Your favorite Aartis, last-read positions, font size, and display theme (Dark/Light) preferences are stored solely on your device.
  • AI Puja History: Devotional questions and generated guidance are stored locally on your device for your reference. You can view or delete your history within the app at any time.

B. On-Device Camera & Image Processing (OCR)

  • Scan Aarti Feature: When using our camera or photo scanning feature to scan printed devotional literature, images are processed in real-time entirely on your device using Google ML Kit’s on-device Devanagari text recognition. Your images or camera feeds are never uploaded, stored, or transferred to our servers or any third-party server.

C. AI Puja Guidance & Vedic Assistant

  • When you submit a question in the "Ask Question" (AI Puja Margdarshak) feature, your text query and selected language preference (Marathi or English) are transmitted securely over encrypted HTTPS connections to reputable AI model providers (such as Google / Sarvam AI / AIRouter) solely to generate the devotional explanation. Queries are processed ephemerally to return your spiritual answer and are not linked to any personal identity.

D. Diagnostics, Analytics & App Performance

To ensure application stability, resolve bugs, and understand feature usage, we collect limited non-personally identifiable diagnostic and usage data via Google Firebase:

  • Crash Logs & Diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics): Stack traces, device state at crash time, device manufacturer, and OS version to detect and resolve application crashes.
  • App Interactions & Analytics (Firebase Analytics): Aggregated metrics such as screen navigation, button taps, Aarti read events, and general app usage trends.
  • Pseudonymous Identifiers: Anonymous Firebase installation IDs or app instance IDs used strictly for metric deduplication and diagnostic monitoring.

2. Device Permissions We Request

To deliver core app features, the application may ask for the following permissions:

  • Camera (android.permission.CAMERA): Requested only when you use the "Scan Aarti" feature to convert printed text into digital format on your device.
  • Internet (android.permission.INTERNET): Required to fetch AI spiritual responses, sync today’s Panchang calculations, and send anonymous crash reports via Firebase.
  • Vibration (android.permission.VIBRATE): Used solely to provide subtle haptic feedback during devotional interactions (e.g., ringing the virtual bell or conch).

3. Third-Party Services & SDKs

We work with trusted industry-standard service providers who process limited data under strict security standards and in compliance with Google Play Developer policies:

  • Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics): For crash reporting, performance monitoring, and anonymous usage analytics.

  • Data in Transit: All communications between the app and external services (such as Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, and the AI guidance engine) are protected using modern industry-standard Transport Layer Security (HTTPS/TLS encryption).
  • Local Data Storage: Your personal notes, custom aartis, and bookmarks reside safely in your device’s sandboxed private internal storage.
  • Binary Integrity: The app is compiled to meet the latest Android security benchmarks, including 16 KB page-size compatibility.

5. User Control & Data Retention

You maintain full control over your information:

  • Edit / Delete Content: You can edit or permanently delete your custom Aartis, collections, and AI search history directly within the app.
  • Reset Local Data: You can clear all cached files and local database records at any time via Android Settings → Apps → Sampurn Aarti Sangrah Marathi → Storage → Clear Data.
  • Uninstall: Uninstalling the application completely deletes all local databases and preferences from your device.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our application offers devotional literature and spiritual content suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under 13 (or under the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If you believe any personal data has inadvertently been provided, please contact us immediately so we can take appropriate steps.
