This Privacy Policy explains how DrawingViewer CAD ("we", "our", "us", or "the App"), developed for Android with package name com.draftpro.app, handles information when you install, open, or use our mobile CAD viewing, measurement, and drafting application.

DrawingViewer CAD is engineered with a strict privacy-first and local-first architecture. All drawing parsing, vector rendering, measurements, geometry editing, and document exports happen entirely on your local device. We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal information or drawings.

Do you collect personal data?	No. We do not collect names, phone numbers, contact lists, physical addresses, GPS location, payment cards, or biometric data.
What data leaves my device?	Only anonymous, aggregated diagnostic telemetry (via Google Firebase Analytics) to fix crashes and improve stability. All event parameters are sanitized on-device before transmission to strip document names and paths.
Do my drawings ever leave my device?	Never. All drawing parsing, rendering, measuring, and geometry editing execute 100% offline on your device. DWG files are opened locally in preview mode using their embedded thumbnail. No drawings or file contents are ever uploaded to any server.

2. Information We DO NOT Collect

To provide complete transparency, DrawingViewer CAD operates under a strict negative data declaration:

No User Accounts: No username, password, login credentials, or social media integration.
No Personal Identifiers: No full name, postal address, personal email address, phone number, or government ID.
No Drawing Content or Intellectual Property: No CAD vector geometry, block definitions, entity coordinates, drawing text, measurement values, layer names, or project titles.
No Precise Location Data: No GPS coordinates, cell-tower triangulation, or Wi-Fi beacon scanning.
No Sensitive Device Access: No access to device microphone, camera, contacts/address book, calendar, SMS, phone state, or call logs.
No Financial Information: No bank account details, credit/debit card numbers, or billing addresses.

3. Information Processed Locally on Your Device

All core functionality in DrawingViewer CAD executes inside the secure local sandbox of your Android device:

A. Drawing Files & Storage Access Framework (SAF)

Scoped User-Driven Access: DrawingViewer CAD uses Android's native system file picker (Intent.ACTION_OPEN_DOCUMENT and Intent.ACTION_CREATE_DOCUMENT).
Explicit Selection Only: When you select a drawing (.dxf, .dwg, .pdf, .svg, .png, .jpg, .webp), the Android operating system grants temporary read/write access to that individual file only.
No Storage Crawling: DrawingViewer CAD does not scan, index, catalog, or browse your broader storage directories or personal photo libraries.
App-Specific Internal Sandbox: Internal storage (Android/data/com.drawingviewer.cad/files/ and private SQLite/Room databases) is used exclusively for:
- Recent file shortcuts (persisted URIs and display file names).
- Auto-save recovery journals and version snapshots to protect unsaved work against unexpected system termination.
- User preferences (drawing units, snap tolerances, theme, grid display, high contrast, autosave intervals, and UI language).
- Scale calibration benchmarks ($DRAFTPRO_CALIBRATION).
All locally cached drawings, journals, and preferences remain isolated to the app sandbox and are permanently deleted when you clear app data or uninstall the App.

4. Offline Drawing Architecture (No Cloud Processing)

DrawingViewer CAD is built from the ground up as an offline-first CAD utility:

Local Processing: All vector parsing, entity rendering, object snapping, measurement computations, and export conversions run entirely within the local sandbox of your Android device.
DWG Files Handled Locally: Binary DWG files are processed on-device by extracting and displaying their embedded preview thumbnail. Drawings are never uploaded to any remote or cloud server for decoding or conversion. For full vector editing, drawings can simply be saved or exported as DXF in standard CAD software.
Zero Network Exposure for Drawings: No network connection is ever requested or used to access, read, process, or render your drawings.

5. Analytics & Diagnostic Telemetry

To ensure reliable vector rendering across thousands of Android device models and operating system versions, DrawingViewer CAD includes Google Firebase Analytics (provided by Google LLC).

What Firebase Analytics Collects:

Aggregated App Interaction: Anonymous counts of screens visited (Home, Viewer, Editor, Settings), tool activations (snapping, measuring tools, layer toggles), and export formats selected (DXF, SVG, PDF, CSV, XLSX, images).
Technical & Diagnostic Metrics: App launches, updates, device model, operating system version, screen resolution, app version code, system language, and general crash/stability diagnostics.
Pseudonymous Identifiers: An automated, randomly generated Google Analytics App-Instance ID used to compute aggregated user retention metrics.

Strict On-Device Telemetry Scrubbing:

DrawingViewer CAD implements custom sanitization (FirebaseAnalyticsTracker) before any event is logged.

Any parameter containing a file name, file path, or content URI is automatically stripped down to its generic file extension (e.g., dxf, dwg) or replaced with a generic token (document).
Document titles, folder structures, proprietary project names, and personal identifiers never enter analytics telemetry.

Advertising ID (AD_ID) & Advertising Policy:

DrawingViewer CAD contains zero advertisements and integrates no third-party advertising SDKs.
The Google Advertising ID (AD_ID) may be accessed by Google Play Services strictly for anonymous usage analytics and fraud prevention in full compliance with Google Play Developer Program Policies.
You can reset or delete your Advertising ID at any time via Android Settings → Google → Ads → Reset/Delete advertising ID.

6. Android Permissions Used

DrawingViewer CAD declares only the minimum set of permissions necessary for its documented features:

`android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE`	Used by Firebase Analytics to check connectivity before queuing diagnostic logs, conserving device battery and mobile data.
`android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`	Scoped with `android:maxSdkVersion="32"`. Used exclusively on legacy devices (Android 12 and below) when opening drawings from external storage. Not requested on Android 13+.
`android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE`	Scoped with `android:maxSdkVersion="29"`. Used exclusively on legacy devices (Android 9 and below) when exporting drawings to external storage. Not requested on Android 10+.

Note: DrawingViewer CAD does not request or use MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE ("All files access"), granular media permissions (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES), camera, microphone, contacts, or location permissions.

7. Third-Party Services & Open Source Libraries

We integrate the following third-party services:

Google Firebase Analytics (Google LLC): Diagnostic telemetry and app stability metrics. Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google Play In-App Review API (Google LLC): Prompts satisfied users for optional ratings. Does not collect personal data.

Open-Source Components:

DrawingViewer CAD incorporates open-source libraries compiled into the application binary, including Android Jetpack, KotlinX, Hilt, Room, and acadrust (MPL-2.0/MIT). None of these libraries collect, store, or transmit personal data to external servers. Full license attributions are available in-app under Settings → Open source licenses.

8. Data Retention, Account Deletion & User Rights

A. Local Data Deletion (Google Play Data Deletion Policy)

Because DrawingViewer CAD requires no user account, all user drawings, autosave snapshots, recent file history, and app settings are stored locally on your device.
You can permanently delete all local app data at any time by navigating to:
Android Settings → Apps → DrawingViewer CAD → Storage & cache → Clear storage (or Clear data), or by uninstalling the app.

B. Telemetry Deletion Requests

Aggregated analytics data collected via Firebase is subject to Google Analytics' standard retention schedule (2 to 14 months) and is then automatically purged.

9. International Privacy Rights

A. European Economic Area (EEA) & United Kingdom (GDPR / UK GDPR)

If you reside in the EEA or UK, you are entitled to rights under the General Data Protection Regulation:

Legal Basis for Processing: We process anonymous diagnostic telemetry based on our Legitimate Interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in diagnosing crashes, maintaining app stability, and ensuring device compatibility.
Your Rights: You have the right to access, rectify, or request erasure of your data, the right to restrict or object to processing, and the right to data portability.
Supervisory Authority: You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority (DPA) if you believe our data processing violates applicable regulations.

B. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA) & US State Privacy Laws

If you are a California resident or resident of states with comprehensive privacy laws (Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah):

No Sale or Sharing: We have not sold or shared any personal information to third parties for commercial gain or cross-context behavioral advertising in the preceding 12 months.
Categories of Data Processed: Internet or network activity information (anonymous diagnostic telemetry via Firebase).
Consumer Rights: You have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to request deletion of your information, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.

10. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Global Regulations)

DrawingViewer CAD is a professional computer-aided drafting (CAD) and measurement tool designed for general audiences, architects, engineers, contractors, and students.

The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the EEA/UK).
We do not knowingly solicit, collect, or retain personal data from children under these ages.
If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at developerravin@gmail.com, and we will promptly remove such records.

11. Security Safeguards

We implement industry-standard security safeguards to protect application integrity:

Local app sandboxing provided by the Android OS prevents unauthorized applications from accessing DrawingViewer CAD data.
All network communication (Firebase Analytics diagnostic telemetry) is strictly enforced over encrypted HTTPS/TLS 1.3 channels.
No drawing geometry, coordinates, or project files are ever stored on central cloud servers operated by us.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app updates, technical changes, or legal obligations.

Any modifications will be posted with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this document.
Continued use of DrawingViewer CAD after updates indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
For material changes, we will provide in-app notices through release notes or an updated Settings overview.
